What Else?

I'm a classically-trained pianist (RCM ARCT) and have received honours for performance, harmony/counterpoint and analysis work. I have taught keyboard and music theory to children ages 4-16 in one-on-one and group settings. I have experience music directing amateur productions, accompanying choirs and solo performers, and conducting. I play bass in a Toronto-based alt-countryish band.

What's that gap in 2023?

I moved cross-country to be with family and consequently transferred to the University of Toronto to finish my bachelor's degree. During my semester off of school I read 33 books, including Elena Ferrante's Neapolitan Quartet, four books by Magda Szabó, three books by Margaret Atwood, two books by Annie Ernaux, and The Drama of the Gifted Child. If that doesn't sound like enough books to you, I also learned how to bake sourdough bread, went on a lot of long walks around my new neighborhood, and re-downloaded and deleted Duolingo a few times.
